An up-and-coming City law firm, already highly ranked across numerous practice areas by the Legal 500, is looking to expand its Disputes team. The firm is looking for two individuals: one associate, ideally 2-4PQE, and one senior associate, ideally 5-7PQE.
The team has a particular focus on civil fraud, as well as shareholder disputes, but your work may also involve investigations. You will also advise on a wide array of general commercial litigation, with further opportunities to work with the arbitration partners on their cases. The team works across a wide variety of sectors including life sciences, professional services, energy and infrastructure, media and technology, and commodities.
There will be excellent career progression as the team expands, and you will be encouraged to take on high levels of responsibility with substantial support and supervision from the partners. Senior Associates will be expected to manage cases from their start to competition, supported by a team of more junior associates who you will manage and delegate to. All new joiners will be expected to be involved with business development activities and will be supported in developing client relationships with new and existing clients.
