Jamie Newton
Jamie is the Director of the HR division at Piper Pritchard. With nearly 10 years' experience in HR Recruitment, Jamie has extensive experience in sourcing HR Professionals within the Financial Services, and Professional Services arena. Jamie begun his career within a well-known international recruitment firm helping set up their HR recruitment offering, and subsequently moved to a specialist HR boutique to develop his skills in the mid to senior HR markets.

- Career advice and guidance of mid to senior HR Professionals.
- Developing and mentoring up and coming recruitment consultants.
- Running extensive retained search campaigns and advertised selection.
Outside of work Jamie is a keen sportsman and traveller. He plays team sports regularly in both Rugby and Cricket and is an avid supporter of Wasps Rugby club. He is a self professed "dab hand" in the kitchen and has a long standing ambition to take part in Master Chef at some point.

Emma Vanden
After joining our team as Candidate Consultant fresh out of University, Emma moved into consulting last year and is an intrinsic part of the permanent recruitment division. She has built a solid knowledge of the industry and has a wide and varied network across the legal and professional services arena. She has extensive experience of contingency HR Recruitment across the full HR remit at all levels of seniority, and has led advertised and search campaigns.
Her areas of expertise are:
- Generalist and specialist HR recruitment - permanent vacancies at all levels of seniority.
- Career advice and guidance to entry level HR professionals.
- Regular commentary in key HR publications focused on HR Advisor and HR Manager career progression.
After completing a degree in English literature and History at Cardiff University, Emma is a keen reader always with a book on the go. Additionally, she is lead singer, acoustic guitar and jazz flute player in a well-known band that performs frequently, and she tries to go skiing at least twice a year.

Celine Clark
Celine has over ten year's recruitment experience of hiring both finance and HR Professionals into the Commercial, Professional Services and Public Sectors. Celine has worked for two well known specialist finance recruiters and a boutique HR firm, working on senior interim appointments, contingency permanent vacancies and retained searches.
Celine's areas of expertise include;
- Business Development, and client relationship management
- The recruitment of Senior level Interim HR Professionals into the Financial Services and Professional Services arena
Celine is a keen follower of sports, knows more about Formula 1 than most and closely follows competitive cycling. Celine also utilises her French speaking skills to the best advantage with a passion for travel, fine wine, and good food.

Emma Dewfall
Prior to joining Piper Pritchard, Emma worked in Human Resources for 7 years in the Commercial, and Financial Services sectors predominantly in banking and asset management and has worked in HR roles in London, Madrid and Paris.
Emma's areas of expertise include;
- Business Development, and client relationship management
- The recruitment of Senior level Permanent HR Professionals into the Financial Services and Professional Services arena
Emma read Management, Spanish and French at Durham University and is MCIPD qualified.
In her spare time Emma enjoys watching and playing tennis. She loves to cook having taken a cordon bleu course, and is a volunteer for Crisis, a UK homeless charity.

Kate Mantle
Kate is our Candidate Consultant and manages the candidate applications and the HR inbox. As part of the HR team, she plays an intrinsic part in building relationships with candidates and matching them to roles that suit their experience, skill set, and their career aspirations. She has an in-depth knowledge of HR as a business function as well as having a thorough understanding of a broad range of industries, in particular the legal and professional services arena.
Her areas of expertise are:
- Candidate management and online presence.
- Entry to mid-level HR recruitment within the whole spectrum of HR, both generalist and specialist.
- Career advice and guidance
After completing a degree in Classics at the University of Exeter, Kate is an avid fan of the theatre and enjoys reading a wide variety of literature. She has a fondness for Latin culture and cuisine and plans to travel extensively in this region to gather research for her Latin-themed cook book.
